The new Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer SUVs have arrived, and our team is excited about these two iconic SUVs. At Sterling Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Opelousas, we're excited to show off these two new models to you and your family.
Wagoneer vs. Grand Wagoneer
Both the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer offer impressive luxury and comfort options. These two offer three rows of seating and have a minimalist exterior design. With the Grand Wagoneer, you'll have access to more standard features such as retractable running boards and a taller design. It also features a black rooftop and copper-tinted windows to help set it apart from the Wagoneer. See what other differences the two have.
Performance
The Wagoneer gets power from a 5.7-liter V8 engine with eTorque that provides you with 392 horsepower and 404 pound-feet of torque which translates to up to 10,000 pounds of towing power. The mild-hybrid system also assists with off-roading thanks to the added low-end torque. You can also choose from one of three 4x4 systems to help you have added control in various weather and road conditions.
The Grand Wagoneer comes equipped with the larger 6.4-liter V8 engine for up to 470 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque. This premium SUV offers an available best-in-class max towing of 9,850 pounds. It's also equipped standard with the Quadra-Drive II 4x4 system with a rear electronic limited-slip differential and other features to help you have the power needed for a range of terrain. You can switch between a range of drive modes through the Selec-Terrain Traction Management System, which will adjust the performance and torque distribution.
Interior
Inside the Wagoneer, you have heated, ventilated front seats to help keep you comfortable in various weather, and the 12-way adjustable seats can provide some customized comfort for longer trips. You can customize the tri-zone climate control system for the front two rows to help make sure everyone is traveling in comfort. It has both best-in-class second and third-row legroom, and the power-folding third-row bench seat can provide you with an impressive amount of cargo space.
Premium materials in the Grand Wagoneer like American walnut trim and suede-wrapped headliners help provide a welcoming and luxurious feel. The 24-way power-adjustable front seats have a massaging feature added for even more relaxation. You can fit up to eight passengers in the Grand Wagoneer, and it's equipped with a four-zone automatic climate control system to help ensure that everyone is comfortable on your next road trip.
Technology
Both models come with the latest Uconnect 5 Infotainment system. The Grand Wagoneer is equipped with a 12-inch display standard, while the Wagoneer has an impressive 10.1-inch display. With the Grand Wagoneer, you can equip the McIntosh MX1375 Reference Entertainment System that adds 23-speakers to the SUV's interior.
Available Trims
The Grand Wagoneer will be available in four models, Series I, II, III, and Obsidian, compared to the Wagoneer, which comes in three trims: Series I, II, and III. The higher numbered models add additional standard features such as heated rear seats, power-folding third row, automatic high-beam headlamps, and other features for added comfort and style.
